Morning Banana with Motto

I love bananas and the nutritional contents of it. Bananas are commonly cultivated over Southeast Asia region. Philippine soil and climate are just right  for cultivating all kinds of banana.
We have two variety of banana namely saba and tordan over our small farmland. Which are growing all over the place and almost once a year we have a harvest of one/two Buwig of banana.

Chedeng and PAGASA

PAGASA-DOST
Tropical Storm"SONGDA", to enter PAR later tonight or early tomorrow morning.
Signals the activation of PAGASA Twitter. PAGASA Twitter Account is used for Hourly Update of any disturbance that enter the PAR (Philippine Area of Responsibility) specially storm and typhoon. PAGASA Twitter Account first launch during Typhoon Juan last year helping people prepared and updated.  Now SONGDA international name of  the third storm too entered the PAR is threatening our country. PAGASA name the storm SONGDA to Chedeng after it  entered PAR.  Local name of typhoon was a contribution of people that joined the PAGASA typhoon naming contest.  Why gave it a local name its simply because for people to easily recalled and pronounced it correct.  Local name is like a code for Philippine typhoon.

Philippines was known to be one of the largest user of social media specially Facebook. The official Facebook Page of PAGASA was launch.
Click here and like the page.
The official page wall became a place for discussion, request and question. Some question are relevant some are not, some people shared link of international weather agency and question about PAGASA credibility.  But like Doc. Yumul said " PAGASA has all the accountability on typhoon that enters the PAR".

For the latest Philippine news stories and videos, visit GMANews.TV

PAGASA finally showed radar image of typhoon like they promised on their twitter account. By the help of twipic PAGASA can simply shared the latest satellite images and radar images to the public. What you see on the image was the actually echo of the typhoon as it passed the 400 KM range of Baler Radar. Baler radar was strategically located to monitor typhoon coming from the Philippine Sea. And by the help of this radar PAGASA can monitor the exact location of the weather disturbance.

Finally CHEDENG is out of the PAR, but trigger the onset of rainy season. Click here for more details.

On your own opinion did PAGASA, passed or failed doing their job.
