3.3. How the contest works:
You must visit various properties around the Windows Live and MSN network to find links related to the Contest. You will then be awarded points by clicking on the links at the various sites. Clicking on the links is kicking your virtual football, for which you score points.
Links from which points can be scored can come in the form of image links, text links or advertising banners, all of which will contain a specific clue to the nature of the link.
After scoring points by clicking on the various links throughout the Windows Live and MSN properties, you must convert the points that you have scored, via the Strike Center located at the Contest site, to units of distance representing the distance you have kicked your virtual football.
You will only be allowed to score points once per link per day. There is no limit on the number of links that you can click on per day, but each link will only be counted once per day for purposes of point-scoring.
Microsoft will include, on an ad hoc basis, other mechanisms to score points in the Contest which might not involve clicking on links. These scoring mechanisms will be published on the Contest site, or through hint mechanisms such as the Buddy Cup buddy on Messenger.
Hints will be given on bonus links and point-scoring mechanisms on an ad hoc basis, at Microsoft’s discretion.
