Show your Love and Win

Kythe Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of children with cancer through their education and developmental initiatives. With their Child Life Program, the children and their families are given assistance to further understand cancerand provided with fun psycho-social activities to make sure that the kids are able to enjoy their childhood despite their ailments.

With the willingness to share with this mission, Unilever Foodsolutions partnered with Kythe to roll out the new 5.5L mayo tubs of Best Foods and Lady’s Choice to its operators in a more meaningful manner. Dubbed as the Real Love Campaign, Unilever Foodsolutions and its operators go to outreach programs that have fun healthy sandwich making activities, arts and crafts and storytelling sessions to the kids with cancer in Kythe’s partner hospitals.

In line with this campaign, Unilever Foodsolutions further shares the opportunity to share Real Love to the public with its official Facebook page. For every “like”, one Real Love sandwich will be given to the pediatric cancer patients in the partner hospitals of Kythe Foundation.

Just an ordinary day then after opening my email I got an email from Miss Janette and asking me to help out about Real Love Campaign .

After reading the blog (http://www.influentialblogger.net/2010/09/showing-real-love-for-children-with.html)  I was inspired to write a blog about my experience.  My first encounter about cancer is when my uncle had a Throat Cancer that came from a long term used of cigarette. Everyone is asking him to stop smoking and don't know why he still continue. He only stop when he found out he has throat cancer and that already on 3rd degree. The only option is to remove the affected area to stop the spreading of cancerous cell. We thought everything will be fine after the operation but some of the cancer cell are still left behind. Its was long battle and long medication with Chemotherapy but at the age of 60 his body can't take anymore pain and torture of the medication.

He passes away and leave us all with wonderful memories of what life is all about. Its all about sharing and giving to others. Hope you can share your love to other specially the kids of Kythe Foundation

With just one ‘like’, you can make a child with cancer happy.
